Division Goals

  • Create many leadership opportunities
  • Provide members with greater knowledge of the retail industry
  • Aid the Penn State community, by helping local stores and designers

Projects/Events/Ideas for this year:

Professional Database   
Collection of retail professionals information to help further the careers of the divisions members, will be used to:

  • Send out Newsletter to companies within the retail industry
  • Have contacts for job/internship opportunities
  • Members can use this to ask professionals questions about the industry

Local Stores
Reclaim Clique

  • Help critique and recreate their website
  • Create events to push their products

Double Take

  • Aid in their marketing strategies and campaigns

The Valley Magazine

  • Currently working to gain contacts within the organization so that we can help them in the future

New York City Trip
Yearly trip to New York to visit different companies within the industry

Pittsburgh Trip
Working to possibly visit the American Eagle headquarters

Educational/Professional Outlook
Working with faculty and professionals to help division members better understand the industry

4th General Meeting

Our fourth general meeting will be held Monday, February 9th at 7:30pm in 10 Sparks.  Recruiters from Philip Morris will be speaking so be sure you bring your resumes and dress appropriately so you can network with them after the meeting.  more info
